About us

The thermal spas of Emilia Romagna are a fundamental resource for health, well-being and tourism. Closely linked to the territory and the culture of the region, they fully express the vocation to hospitality and innovation. To protect this heritage, promote it and improve its quality, the Thermal Spa, Health and Wellness Product Union (called Unione di Prodotto Terme, Salute e Benessere in Italian) of Emilia Romagna was founded. Resulting from collaboration between public (municipalities and provinces) and private subjects (products clubs, thermal spa companies), the Product Union carries out action targeting the promotion of tourism-thermal companies and territories. It thus aims to consolidate and promote the economy of thermal spa territories in respect of the environment, favouring the improvement of the quality of services and products of its members, designed to promote and develop the entire sector.

ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE

The Thermal Spa, Health and Wellness Product Union is a streamlined organisation that favours the participation of all its members. It has an Assembly of Members, a President, a Coordinator and a Board of Auditors.

The present regulations govern the criteria for membership to the Thermal Spa, Health and Wellness Union by thermal spa facilities and thermal spa municipalities, in compliance with the articles of association and regional law no. 7/98.
