Modena
Culture, food and wine and... motor engines
Along with Ravenna and Ferrara, Modena is one of three cities in Emilia Romagna whose cultural heritage - the Piazza Grande, the Cathedral and the Ghirlandina - is protected by UNESCO. Its province is also famous for its ski resorts, charming hills, the “rampant horse” of Ferrari and food and wine, with traditional balsamic vinegar, cherries from Vignola and Lambrusco wine… delicious and also surprisingly good for the body. Just a few kilometres from Modena, at the Terme della Salvarola spa, guests can even try these unusual treatments.
